A Look Back at DCSO Insight Day 2019

DCSO at Public-IT-Security 2019

November 2019

On 13 November 2019, we welcomed more than 150 customers, partners and friends of DCSO to the third DCSO Insight Day! This time, we opened doors to Haus Ungarn in Berlin, just next to famous Alexanderplatz.

On a day full of insights, a dense programme of exciting lectures and lively discussions around the current and future fields of cyber security awaited our numerous guests. The beginning made one of a total two vivid CIO Panels with Beate Hofer (Volkswagen), Joachim Jaeckle (Henkel) and Alexander Peters (Otto Group).

During the day the participants had the choice between talks and presentations on the “Management Track” – including Mauro Pianezzola (Volkswagen), Marc Lindike (Munich Airport) or Ralf Schneider (Allianz), just to name a few – and those on the “Technical Track”, where Kai Thomsen (Audi), Andreas Nolte (Arvato), Andreas Dewes (7Scientist) as well as experts from DCSO shared their knowledge.

In the final session of the day Mathias Moeller of Bertelsmann, Ralf Schneider, Marc Lindike and DCSO CEO Gunnar Siebert discussed the pros and cons of a DE SOC and the possible opportunities for Germany.

After the official end of the agenda time had come to celebrate the fourth birthday of DCSO together. Many thanks to all attendees – we are already looking forward to Insight Day 2020!
